Resplendent Rose means to shine bright and beautifully no matter who you are or what you look like.
About Kayleigh
My name is Kayleigh and I am just your average college girl chasing my fashion dreams. I am a follower of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior and all the glory is given to him. You can typically find me at your local Dog House (it’s a NC thing) drinking sweet tea or at tjmaxx buying candles!
Why did you start a blog?
I started this blog my junior year of college, as a way to document my day-to-day life. I grew up riding horses and being a tom boy. I later discovered J.Crew in the 8th grade and my love for fashion grew from there. My friends and I used to go to the mall and spend hours in Sephora getting make overs. My senior year of high school I was obsessed (still am) with the tv show Gossip Girl, I loved the excitement of NYC and following the lives of the privileged upper east side teenagers. Anyone of my close friends can tell you I am obsessed with Blair Waldorf’s style and try to channel some of her style into mine. In high school I dual enrolled with my local community college and started cosmetology. I am currently a marketing major living in Eastern North Carolina. I have always had a love of fashion and decided to start a blog to give me a way to express that love creatively. Over the past couple of years I have followed numerous style bloggers and felt inspired to start my own. My main goal when graduating college is to open my own business, with that, I hope to inspire others to be the best they can be and help women feel better about themselves in a society that is glorifying unrealistic body images. Resplendent Rose is a place where I am 100% myself and I hope to help inspire others to do the same.
